My current body of work, Light and Tide, returns to a seascape of perpetual transformation, where light and tide endlessly recompose
the world. Water, land, and sky dissolve into a continuous field, their boundaries softening alongside our own. Here, we move within the rhythms of the greater whole.
The images are created kinetically in-camera through intentional defocus and a compressed tonal range, allowing light, atmosphere, and form to emerge from the moment with minimal further intervention.
Materiality is integral to this body of work. Printed on natural Kozo paper, hand-finished with beeswax and damar resin, and built through layered construction, the works possess a quiet luminosity that extends the immersive quality of the image while honouring a nature-kind approach to preservation.

Each series engages with the natural world through its own line
of enquiry, while sharing an ongoing engagement with symbolism, meaning-making, and connection to the greater whole.
